AI and marketing for dental practices

A dental practice loses more money to its telephone than to almost anything else it worries about. A 2026 study across 26 practices found 38% of calls went unanswered during normal business hours, and a new-patient call that reaches voicemail converts at around 4% against 30% when someone picks up.
So most of what is useful here is unglamorous: answering, reminding, recalling and asking for the review afterwards. The marketing question comes later, and it is easier once the phone is handled.
